SHARK DIVING BOOKING

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of any booking made through Shark Divers must be made in writing, a minimum of 24 hours prior to the actual tour date.
If the client cancels less than 24 hours before the tour date, a 100% cancellation fee applies. If the client does not arrive for their tour (a ‘no show’), a 100% cancellation fee applies.

Thorough weather checks are done prior to any trip. If bad weather prevents us from proceeding with a trip on any particular day, clients are informed and an alternative date is negotiated or an entire refund is given. If strong winds pick up while out at sea and a return to shore is required for the safety of passengers and crew, a refund is not applicable, but we will offer a Voucher for a free trip. In the unlikely event that you do not see any sharks on your tour, you will receive a complimentary voucher to dive again. This voucher is valid for one year and is not transferable. Due to variable weather conditions and shark activity, diving may not always be possible and is therefore not guaranteed. The boat tour we offer consists of an average of 2 1/2 hours at sea.

Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT:
-Your credit card was NOT CHARGED at the time of booking!
-Payment is due on the day of your tour in either cash or card.
-Shark Divers reserves the right to charge your credit card within 48 hours of your tour date, and such an arrangement will be communicated to the booking holder.
-Your card details will be processed in the event of improper cancellation by yourself.

CONFIRMATION OF YOUR SEATS:
-All spaces on tour should be booked at least 48 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.
-All bookings made within 48 hours from trip date must be confirmed and validated by an agent either via e-mail, whatsapp or phone call.
-Shark Divers will not be liable in the event that the tour reaches capacity and is full. –Please ensure that you are given confirmation for your trip.
-Shark Divers will not be held responsible for passengers left behind as a result of unconfirmed bookings.

TIMETABLE AND DEPARTURE TIMES:
-The trip starts anywhere between 6 am and 2 pm from Kleinbaai harbour, 5 minutes from Gansbaai Town and 3 hours from Cape Town Airport.
-Trip times are only confirmed the day prior and are subject to tides, weather conditions and the number of bookings we have on a day.
-We GUARANTEE at least one launch per day (subject to weather) with additional tours dependant on weather and bookings.
-Passengers must be ready to leave from a departure point at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure times.
-Exact meeting and collection times are therefore only available after 16:00 the day prior to the tour.
-Aforementioned, we STRONGLY recommend customers to have their entire day open for this activity.
-In the event of a bus running behind schedule due to traffic or road works, every attempt will be made to keep passengers informed but we accept no liability for any inconvenience in this regard.
-Shark Divers, its servants and its agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his or her luggage or other personal property, whenever the same shall arise from or be occasioned by the negligence of the Shark Divers, it’s servants or agents or other person directly or indirectly in the employment or service of the Shark Divers or under any circumstances whatsoever.

DATE CHANGES:
-Date and/or the number of passengers changes of any booking made through Shark Divers or our affiliates must be made in writing, a minimum of 48 hours prior to tour departure. Dates will be changed pending availability.

EXTRAS: ACCOMMODATION & GOPRO RENTAL:
-All purchases for the extra services will be confirmed by an agent within 24 hours of placing your booking.
