Had a fantastic experience in the middle of March. While great white sharks couldn't be seen due to the orca predation, we still saw a ton of sharks that were great white lookalikes although quite a bit smaller. They still reach 2-3 meters in length and enjoyed the trip very much. It can be quite a long drive from Cape Town Downtown however. We had a beautiful show of copper sharks. Its really a unique and exhilarating experience for young and old! The start to finish was professional, educational and welcoming. Saw 3 great whites on our trip in Mossel Bay and got loads of time in the cage with them. Fantastic crew on board very knowledgeable. Amazing service, we went on 2 excursions with them - swimming with sharks and the Big Five. They helped us find a free hotel and always responded quickly. Compared to other companies, the sharks were better fed and therefore the sharks were always near the cage and we allowed to swim twice in the cage. Safety and the welfare of the sharks are first and foremost. Don't go expecting to see Jaws. Lots of active sharks when we went in November. Sea sickness tablets are a must. The waters were choppy and a lot of people felt it, so motion sickness tablets is a must, and even then you might feel it. We were well looked after, and I highly recommend this company. My friend group had an absolutely amazing experience! Staff was kind and accommodating throughout the entire booking experience as well as throughout the dive itself! I felt completely safe and secure the whole way through, and staff walked us through safety procedures beforehand so we knew what to expect when getting on the boat and going into the cage. We saw so many sharks up close and the GoPro we rented from them got incredible footage! 10/10 would recommend and book again!
